Ello
We developed a visual identity that reflects 80s and 90s nostalgia in a clean, modern and playful way. We used matte mirror board, neon colours and also developed 20-30 custom stickers. The final ‘ello visual identity is Instagrammable, playful and interactive with its customers, helping customers truly feel like a part of the brand.
We also helped the client come up with the name ‘ello, designed packaging, designed collaterals, created a custom website and consulted on the physical pop-up space interior design.
Challenge:
'ello is a new, highly Instagrammable dessert eatery concept serving artisanally handcrafted, high-end donuts with a pop-up operation style. They were inspired by modern bakeries in the West and wanted to bring something completely new to the confectionary market in Hong Kong. They needed a visual identity that could marry both art & design with food for their launch.
